About Collins Pumps
For nearly four decades, Collins Pumps has been designing and manufacturing self-priming diesel pumps at our factory in Moama, NSW. Every pump we sell is built in-house — from initial design through to final testing — right here in the Echuca-Moama region.
Our Story
Building Pumps for Australian Conditions Since 1987
Collins Pumps was established in 1987, originally building pumps for local farmers in the Murray River region who needed reliable, high-volume water movement for irrigation. Word spread quickly. Farmers and contractors across the Riverina and northern Victoria came to us because our pumps were built for the conditions they actually worked in — heat, dust, long hours, and remote locations with no dealer support nearby.
Today we ship pumps to worksites and farms right across Australia, from Queensland cotton country to Western Australian mine sites. But we have not moved the factory, and we have not changed the approach.
Every Collins pump is still built to order at our workshop on Echuca Street in Moama, NSW 2731.
How We Build

Every Collins pump is purpose-built with features that matter on the job site — not sales gimmicks.
Direct-Coupled to Diesel
Each pump is direct-coupled to the engine, eliminating belts and pulleys. The result is a more compact, more efficient, and more reliable package with fewer maintenance headaches.
Built-In Heat Exchangers
All Collins pumps use the pumped water to cool the engine as standard. This allows continuous around-the-clock operation without overheating — essential for irrigation and dewatering.
Custom Configurations
Every pump is built to order. Choose your engine brand (Isuzu,Yanmar, Kubota, Kohler, and more), mounting, pipe size (6 to 12-inch), and flow requirements. Matched to your job, not off the shelf.
